"Issues of World War III" Survey

"Should we assist labor unions?" Over 80 percent of responses favored reducing, rather than building, union power; the balance of responses, in the "other" category, featured similar anti-union sentiments. We received some strong comments from readers on this topic:

Factual Background:
Although labor unions today in America still control millions of workers, their membership and influence have declined so precipitously over the decades that it's hard to remember back when they commanded so much power that they held the economy in their grip.

But as much as they're often promoted as if they were a patriotic, American institution, the actual origin of modern labor unions was in Europe in the 1800s. They were largely a product of organizing by Karl Marx and the original Communist International, which conceived of workers' collectives ("soviets," in Russian) as a powerful weapon of revolution and anarchist destruction. Communist strategy envisioned uniting workers, a critical pillar of the industrial revolution, to bring down the political system and seize control of factories through strikes, riots, and armed uprisings in the streets. The object was to incite workers into resenting their employers, rather than being grateful for their employment and pay, by instigating a bad attitude that demands even more and blames employers for being too "stingy." That resentment would be turned by Communist organizers into class divisions and hatred, the fuel that drives any Marxist revolution.

They certainly accomplished some of those goals. In Russia and various other countries, they played a crucial role in the revolution and the establishment of Communist regimes, as well as in maintaining Communist demolition of economic production through the all-pervasive workers' councils that run industry in the Communist Bloc (a major reason Socialist economies are such drastic failures). They've also contributed to destabilization at critical moments in Communist revolutions in other countries (the PLO-controlled unions in the West Bank and Gaza, which help coordinate the Intifadeh and intimidate palestinian workers into supporting the Marxist revolution, come to mind).

Given the massive industrial labor force in America and western Europe before World War II, the Communists had hoped labor unions would form the backbone of revolution in those countries. Unions, by and large, were under Communist control, some more openly than others, and militant unions did cause enormous chaos in the western economies in those decades. Even after World War II, their clout helped President Harry Truman nationalize key American industries, although rising conservatism eventually forced him to reverse the mass expropriation of property.

As capitalism developed and grew, creating new prosperity and utilizing new technologies, crude hand labor slowly became obsolete and people's lives changed enough to undermine union solidarity and power. But that hasn't stopped the unions from using their vast resources to help Marxist revolution in other ways. The umbrella union organization AFL-CIO, for example, has spent millions of dollars in supporting subversion and Marxist insurgency in other nations, especially poor ones. They've also used their considerable lobbying power to push for left-wing, subversive political candidates and issues; just one week ago, the California Labor Federation arrogantly dismissed the pro-life sentiments of many of its 2.1 million workers and moved to openly push for more abortion, for example. And teachers' unions, such as the National Education Association (NEA) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) exercise enormous influence in pushing leftist propaganda disguised as "education" in the public schools.

And the Communists still openly speak of mobilizing and radicalizing existing unions for disruptive, revolutionary effect. In countries with high labor union membership, that can still be devastating. In France, strikes in recent years have done considerable economic damage while inciting violent riots against police. In Israel last month, unionized firefighters went on strike exactly when PLO/Hezbollah missiles began raining down on Israel, causing forest fires that burned thousands of acres of valuable land (Communist theoreticians have specifically cited the potential of labor unions in Israel to paralyze the economy at a critical moment of revolution or war). In effect, Israeli labor unions did almost as much damage as the PLO and Hezbollah themselves.

So as one weapon in a rich arsenal of Communist revolution, labor unions still play a fundamental role.

Relevant Torah Principles:
1) On Numbers 7:1, Jewish sage Rashi comments that the construction of the mobile temple (the tabernacle in the desert) was credited by the Torah to Moses, even though Betzalel and others were the ones who built it. Rashi explains that because Moses supervised and managed the process, coordinating all the details to work together and making sure everything was done properly, G-d gave him the credit for building the tabernacle. The manager who supervises the work is not a "parasite" leeching off the workers, as Communist propaganda declares, but is rather given credit for accomplishing the entire task, for while each of the workers does his own part, the manager (or owner) carries out the vastly more difficult, more troublesome job of coordinating all the parts to fit together as an harmonious whole. Thus he deserves vastly higher pay and credit for achieving the goals.

2) Torah also places great value on creating peace between man and man (or man and wife). One who stirs up conflict is considered evil (unless the controversy is necessary for Torah purposes and is done strictly for the sake of Heaven). And one who makes peace between people is rewarded greatly by G-d. This principle is found in many places in the Talmud and other sources, including Pirkei Avos ("Ethics of the Forefathers," loosely translated).

3) Jewish Law (as stated in the Ten Commandments) prohibits envy and jealousy of the possessions of others. Under the Noahide Laws, this is incorporated in the commandments against theft, for one who envies the possessions of another will eventually goad himself into cheating or stealing them away from his neighbor.

4) The above principles apply to gentiles as much as to Jews, since they are pillars of establishing orderly, productive society — a primary mission of the Noahide Laws. Consequently, gentile governments are empowered to take measures against those who stir up strife and class warfare, in order to restore an harmonious, peaceful society and to prevent rising theft and other crimes motivated by envy and resentful demands.

5) As mentioned often, national security is a paramount concern under the Noahide commandment for establishing and maintaining justice. The fact that Communists control and manipulate labor unions makes such organizations outright treasonous and subversive, and thus increases the urgency of preemptively moving against them to prevent disaster in times of insurrection or warfare (and to stop ongoing subversion of the system in the meantime).

Analysis:
Unions have contributed nothing to the economy or human welfare but strife and contention, creating attitudes of bitterness and disloyalty by workers toward their own employers. Any social functions unions have carried out, such as insurance or unemployment benefits for workers, could better have been carried out by organizations not designed to provoke revolution, and for that matter, union funds have long been the target of criminal corruption and massive theft (or of Marxist political organizing that uses the funds for subversion), thus depriving workers of their monies they involuntarily paid into the union funds.

So there's never been any legitimate reason for unions to exist at all. It's high time for all societies throughout the world to abolish all unions and root out the Communist agents who organize them. It was the development of capital — industry and technology — through harmonious, peaceful economic growth that raised the standard of living for workers, not union demands and hate-mongering.

And now for this week's survey question:

Environmental groups are at odds with the U.S. navy over high-powered sonar being deployed in the Pacific Ocean. Should the navy's use of the sonar be restricted?

(1) Yes, the navy can use traditional sonar that doesn't kill whales and dolphins.
(2) They should work according to the new compromise that restricts the new sonar to certain parts of the Pacific.
(3) No, the new sonar needs to be deployed all across the Pacific, regardless of its effect on sea animals.
(4) Other

Subversion Alert

This week:
Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz and his Aleph Society

The breakup of the Moscow-controlled "Sanhedrin" continues unabated. The remnant of that not-so-august body is keeping its head down during the withering exposures it has undergone in recent months, resulting in the resignation of at least two rabbis, including one of its founders, Rabbi Moshe Antelman (protesting the increasingly open R & B influence on the "Sanhedrin").

Just weeks ago, its downward spiral left its phony "Noahide Council" in further disarray as Billy Jack Dial, a gentile agent of the Root & Branch Association (R & B) network we profiled in our Jan. 15, 2006 issue, formally resigned from the Council in the wake of our exposure. He thus joins Jack Saunders, another R & B agent we exposed in out Jan. 29, 2006 issue, who left months ago. Both Dial and Saunders were sacrificed in a vain attempt to save the bogus "Sanhedrin" from further controversy — as Saunders publicly admitted.

As we've reviewed before, Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz's resignation as leader of the "Sanhedrin" was less to save the organization than to save Steinsaltz himself, just as he was scheduled to appear at the interfaith, KGB-organized "World Summit of Religious Leaders" in Moscow (profiled in the last few issues). With his numerous ties to the Soviet KGB/FSB and to the Fabian Socialist Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), which acts as a fifth column for the Communists in the U.S., Steinsaltz could hardly afford close scrutiny while meeting with leaders of other religions — most of them Communist agents in disguise, to make things worse.

Now Rabbi Antelman has drawn our attention to another strong set of links between Steinsaltz and the CFR. Steinsaltz's main organization is known as the Aleph Society, with branches in various nations that help publish his writings, coordinate his speeches, and raise money for his other organizations (some of which are based directly in Soviet Russia under KGB control). Among the prominent speakers promoted by Steinsaltz's Aleph Society have been Richard Haass, current president of the CFR, as well as CFR members Jehuda Reinharz (president of Brandeis University, a center for radical Marxist organizing) and James Wolfensohn (former president of the World Bank and architect of funding the terrorist PLO). Haass, for the record, is an open advocate of a PLO state on Israeli land, a radical objective advocated by Hillary Clinton, President George Bush, and the entire Communist Bloc.

Thus it's no surprise Steinsaltz didn't want to oppose PLO funding, nor did he allow the phony "Sanhedrin" to address the issue. But don't expect any different from Rabbi Yoel Schwartz, the Marxist R & B agent who now runs the "Sanhedrin." No amount of "musical chairs" at the phony "Sanhedrin" can disguise the Communist forces that control it.

Ominously, Steinsaltz's well-funded Aleph Society has tentacles that reach far into the Jewish world, recruiting and influencing many orthodox rabbis in a manner similar to R & B. That goes far in explaining the wall of opposition against JAHG-USA's PLO-defunding campaign and our various publications.

(Note: The underground Communist apparatus and its aboveground tentacles are actively engaged in subversion in all sectors and institutions of society today. Its agents would dearly love to know the full extent of our information, which would assist their disinformation efforts. Consequently, we do not divulge all our facts or sources. These profiles are intended only as a warning to the wise to monitor the individuals and groups exposed here, and to avoid their influence.)

THE HALL OF SHAME…
Have Some Jewish Leaders Betrayed the Torah?

This week's example:
Rabbi Joseph D. Leiner, Treas., Vaad HaRabonim of Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY

With the strong tide of support by members of the official rabbinical council of the Flatbush area (the Vaad), we thought it would be a no-brainer to approach Rabbi Leiner, the council's official treasurer, with our PLO-defunding Proclamation. Our volunteer approached the rabbi last November 8th, after most of the Vaad's directors had already signed. But to our amazement, he angrily and rudely refused to endorse.

His reason? He was furious at the mention of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, in the body of the Proclamation. Now, the Proclamation isn't a "Lubavitch" document; it's written broadly to represent the united view of all orthodox Jews. The only reason we mentioned the Rebbe was because he was the most prominent leader, to our knowledge, who had publicly and repeatedly insisted that the Torah commandment of saving lives applies to helping defend Israel from its enemies. If we had known of any other prominent rabbinical leader who made the same point (and we don't doubt there have been some), we would have mentioned their names, too. Numerous non-Lubavitch rabbis have had no problem signing the Proclamation, and saw no problem mentioning the widely respected name of the Rebbe.

I have personally met a tiny number of non-Hasidic, orthodox Jews who show fiery hatred toward Lubavitchers, just as I've met a tiny number of Lubavitchers who show equal hatred toward non-Hasidic Jews. Most rabbis (and most orthodox Jews) have no such attitude problems. But every once in a while, you run into a trouble-maker like that.

Still, I strongly suspect the mention of the Rebbe wasn't Rabbi Leiner's true objection. Nowhere have I ever found any orthodox rabbi who doesn't respect the Rebbe as a prominent rabbinical scholar, at least to some extent. Besides, the Torah commandment of saving lives overrides petty objections like that, and Rabbi Leiner knows that well. He probably just didn't want to get involved in a possible controversy, like virtually all other "refuseniks" we've dealt with.

Terrorism Update:

The Bush Administration is still funding the PLO/Hezbollah war against Israelis, Turks, Arabs, and Americans through direct aid to PLO organizations, aid to Communist Lebanon and Communist Egypt, funding of the United Nations, and foreign aid to certain non-Communist Arab governments — all of whom are aiding Hezbollah. So this is what your tax dollars are accomplishing:

Summary of terror attacks, Wednesday (August 9) through Tuesday (August 15): The Lebanese-based PLO/Hezbollah forces continued their barrage of missile attacks aimed at civilian centers, firing some 735 Soviet Russian Katyusha missiles into northern Israel. Because many of the missile salvos continued to be targeted against Arab towns and villages, all three civilians killed in the rocket attacks were Arab — a young mother and her baby boy, and an elderly man. At least 64 civilians were injured, including a dozen or more Arabs. That was in addition to enormous numbers of homes and other buildings damaged or entirely destroyed, along with numerous cars, farms, and acres of forest (burned in fires).

Several Syrian-made Khaibar missiles and North Korean-designed Fajr missiles were also fired into Israel, along with dozens of mortar rounds from right across the border (proving that Israeli forces were being hampered even from clearing the area right along the Lebanese-Israel border).

PLO/Hezbollah units in Lebanon also tried to send unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) loaded with explosives into Israel; 1 crashed and the other was destroyed by Israelis before they could find their targets. Israeli soldiers also intercepted and destroyed a suicide truck bomber on his way to an attack across the border.

Up until the United Nations-imposed "ceasefire" Monday morning, 50 Israeli soldiers were killed in action in Lebanon and over 165 others were wounded. After the "ceasefire" began, PLO/Hezbollah forces followed the routine of Communist revolutionaries throughout the world and predictably started attacking again; 5 more Israeli soldiers were wounded in 2 shooting attacks, 4 mortar rounds, and several Soviet Russian Katyusha missiles fired at them in Lebanon. The treasonous government of Ehud Olmert blocked Israeli soldiers from even responding to the post-"ceasefire" shells and missiles, never mind allowing victory.

So far, PLO/Hezbollah has launched more than 4,000 Soviet Russian missiles into Israel since the start of the Lebanon war, killing 41 civilians (including 17 Arabs) and charring some 2,500 acres in forest fires (in addition to all other casualties and damage as previously reviewed).

Meanwhile, the PLO and its close allies continued attacks from the Gaza Strip and West Bank. Several Kassam missiles were fired from PLO-occupied Gaza, along with 2 Soviet Russian Grad missiles (similar to Katyushas) (for which the PLO-coordinated Islamic Jihad took credit). A knifing attack killed 1 Italian tourist in Jerusalem, and 2 foreign reporters (1 American, 1 New Zealander) from the Fox television network were kidnapped by a well-coordinated team of terrorists in the PLO-occupied Gaza. And a death squad of the PLO-supervised Islamic Jihad brutally murdered a young palestinian Arab man out in public in the West Bank, just one week before the man's scheduled wedding, to send a message of terror and intimidation to all palestinians not to resist the PLO.

That was in addition to various incidents of firebombs, bombs, gunfire, and stone-throwing attacks directed at both soldiers and civilians in the West Bank or Gaza; several cars were damaged and some people injured in those assaults. At least one suicide bombing was prevented by the arrest of the conspirators.

…AND THE HALL OF FAME
Many Jewish Leaders Are Helping the JAHG-USA Campaign

This week's examples:
Rabbi Viktor Atyah, Bais Chabad of Hebron-Kiryat Arba, Kiryat Arba, Israel;
Rabbi Avrohom Cohen, Bais Mashiach Chabad, Be'er Sheva, Israel; and
Rabbi Zvi Chaim Slonim, Chabad, Mitzpeh Ramon, Israel

Several more Chabad-Lubavitch representatives from Israel signed up enthusiastically last November 23rd, on the eve of the annual convention of Chabad rabbis in Brooklyn:

Rabbi Atyah operates his synagogue in the heavily-besieged Hebron community in the West Bank, which is now mostly in PLO hands. Terror attacks are an almost daily occurrence in the area, including stone-throwings, stabbings, and periodic pipe bombings. Rabbi Atyah has gained some international prominence for his courageous leadership in holding together a Jewish community in the middle of a Communist-occupied war zone. It's no wonder he's so eager to defund the PLO.

Rabbi Cohen runs his synagogue in the central-south of Israel, which is not yet in range of the typical terrorist attacks from the Gaza Strip using short-range Kassam rockets. But as PLO occupation forces in Gaza begin to deploy longer-range Soviet Russian Katyusha and Grad missiles, communities in the area may start to enter the combat zone. Rabbi Cohen certainly doesn't want his community coming under that kind of threat..

Rabbi Slonim's Chabad synagogue is located further south, in Israel's Negev Desert. His community is within striking range of the Egyptian border, and whenever Cairo is ordered to attack by Moscow, Mitzpeh Ramon would be in immediate danger. That same Communist Egypt actively supports PLO terrorism in Israel with money and weapons. So Rabbi Slonim also has good reason to recognize the importance of ending American taxpayer funding for the PLO.

TURN IN YOUR RABBI!
We need more volunteers to approach rabbis for endorsements of the PLO-defunding campaign. Whether your rabbi is Chabad, Littvoch ("misnagged"), modern orthodox, Sefardi, or with some other Hasidic movement, and regardless of what country he is in, you need to get his signature. E-mail us at newsletter@noahide.com for copies of the Proclamation and for information on how to approach your rabbi.

For a complete listing of all rabbis who have received our proclamation, the up-to-date status of their responses, and how you can help the campaign, visit ATTAC Report at http://www.attacreport.com/plo/.

This Week on ATTAC Report

This week's edition of our sister site, ATTAC Report, presents:

Letters to the Editor

(In response to our sister site, ATTAC Report, and in particular to this week's feature "Nations in Judgment"):
"Just wanted to let you know how much I've been getting out of your web page. I'm not totally sold on the mysticism, but I love the clarity involved in your writing.
I really like how you seem to cover EVERY part of the geopolitical crises we face! I read a lot of magazines and blogs, conservative and otherwise. Many, if not all, leave out HUGE issues…
I had 2 questions regarding your 'Nations in Judgment'.
1) I understand a higher score to be a measurement of a 'higher' nation in terms of private and public virtues. If I read it right, why does 'outside influence' score as a positive only? Isn't there a dichotomy between the 'types' of outsides that are doing the influence? I can think of many countries that are being influenced negatively from 'outside'…" — SW (part 1)

Our response: Of course there are two general types of influence a person, or nation, can receive: good or evil. Good influence is from any source that demonstrates superior behavior; evil influence is from those who demonstrate inferior actions and attitudes.

It goes without question that we're not even considering the notion of evil influence when we formulate our "Nations in Judgment" ratings. It would be pointless, and historically speaking, it hasn't been a significant factor in the development of nations. Most societies, most of the time, choose between emulating foreign nations that are more prosperous and successful or turning inward and refusing to change at all. The moral point of decision is whether to be ambitious and advance upward, or whether to remain "comfortable" and slowly rot.

The principal of entropy, that ordered systems become disordered with time (in the absence of an outside source that "cleans things up," so to speak) has been well demonstrated in physics. The Second Law of Thermodynamics covers this principle with regard to the distribution of energy (heat, in particular); Shannon's Law of Information Decay covers the notion of entropy in information systems (such as computers and digital systems).

This is the same principle we see every day in our personal lives. If we don't clean up our homes or offices, they become messier and more disordered with time.

The principle of entropy also applies to human societies. With time, a culture degrades and becomes immoral and then primitive; in other words, it starts as an advanced civilization and ends as a stone-age culture of savages. Unless the nation accepts an infusion of new ideas and concepts from a more advanced foreign society, it is ultimately doomed to decay and die. Entropy is essentially what ruined all the ancient empires, from Babylon and Persia to Egypt, Rome, Greece, and others. Those same civilizations were originally built up by opening themselves to more advanced ways of thinking from the outside. Ultimately, those higher ideas came from the Jewish people and their ongoing civilization, whether in Israel or the diaspora, and the Jewish people, in turn, get their own infusion of new concepts and ways of thinking from the Torah, the ever-open pipeline to G-d's Wisdom and Will.

The underground, revolutionary forces of Amalek, the hidden nation that has guided Satanic evil on this planet for over 3,000 years, are working feverishly to prevent the world from openly embracing the more advanced ways of Jewish civilization — in order to prevent the crossing of the final threshhold into the Messianic Redemption. That's why Communists all throughout the world always mobilize the lower, more primitive, inferior societies into Marxist rebellion against the superior civilizations. The Communists organize Black Power revolution to prevent blacks from imitating superior white culture; they incite women into feminism and ignoring men's more visionary potential; they provoke Third World nations to expel colonial influence by European societies; they provoke whites into nationalistic (or in extreme cases, neo-Nazi) resistance to Jewish influence; and so on.

A leading object of Communist subversion is to instigate a "bad attitude" among people who should be trying to learn from those who have superior cultures. And our "Nations in Judgment" ratings aim to demonstrate that the more receptive nations have been in recent history to outside influence — whether directly from Jews, or indirectly through industrial nations, etc. — the more those nations have evaded or outpaced Communist revolution. It's a stunningly consistent fact that the nations that have fallen to Communism (over one third of the world) are those who were most resistant to outside influences, opting instead for smug, self-assured haughtiness. That's a self-imposed blindness that leads straight to perdition.
