"Issues of World War III" Survey

"What should ordinary Israelis do in response to the PLO/Hezbollah war?" Opinions were divided almost evenly between (a) supporting the Olmert government's response, (b) overthrowing that government and moving aggressively against the enemy, and (c) purging spies from within the Israeli right wing. But there were almost no comments; we excerpt one here:

• "…It is ridiculous that the Israeli army is not allowed to fight in order to defeat [the] enemy…"

Factual Background:
Because of their Socialist destruction of economies and societies, Communist regimes cannot keep up with military advances in technology and strength by non-Communist nations. That means Communists cannot win wars, at least not directly.

So their strategy relies instead on carefully laid traps meant to draw their enemies into no-win quagmires, where the fighting goes on and on endlessly without victory. As time passes, the targeted populations become emotionally and financially drained and lose their will to continue fighting. After a while, the victims come to believe victory is not possible, and their morale plummets to the point that more and more of them are willing to negotiate and compromise with the Communist enemy — or even to switch sides and turn traitor.

These strategems cannot work unless Communist agents first infiltrate and permeate the target opposition, including the government, civil and religious organizations, and especially anti-Communist or right-wing movements. Those agents, posing as legitimate leaders or fellow citizens, pretend to fight the enemy while constantly sabotaging the war effort using a variety of excuses. Without such treasonous undermining, the Communists would face doom from the full unleashing of power by their intended victims.

The PLO in particular has long adhered to this "quagmire" strategy, aiming to pull Israel into no-win wars restricted by its own leaders. That's the main rationale behind the ongoing terrorism in the West Bank and Gaza, including those Kassam rockets fired almost daily. It's also the foundation of planning by Hezbollah in Lebanon, which was founded by the PLO in 1982 and served primarily as cover for PLO units acting under the "Hezbollah" name.

The PLO and its Hezbollah front wouldn't have launched the recent war against Israel unless they felt extremely protected by fellow agents in the Israeli government. They have good reason to feel secure. Since its founding in 1948, Israel has been politically dominated by the Marxists of its Labor Party, including David ben-Gurion, Golda Meir, Shimon Peres, and Yitzchak Rabin. All these leaders and their associates have not only been explicit Marxists and advocates of the world revolution, but their party is affiliated with the KGB-controlled Fifth International, and in 1948-1949, they were provided Soviet weaponry by Josef Stalin with which to crush anti-Communist Jewish resistance such as the underground led by Menachem Begin. Evidence has also surfaced over the years that these Moscow-loyal Marxists brought numerous Communists with them into the new Israeli government, where those hidden agents formed uncountable cells inside Israeli intelligence, the military, and other strategic institutions.

The "right wing" opposition isn't fundamentally different. The Likud coalition was established by Ariel Sharon, the "former" Labor Socialist who worked to sabotage the right wing agenda, who was favored and promoted by the Fabian Socialist Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) in the United States, and who, obviously, was the architect of much of Israel's recent surrender to the PLO. Other Likud leaders have included Benjamin Netanyahu, the protege of CFR member Henry Kissinger and his associates (all of them Fabian Socialists, and Kissinger in particular having been identified as a Soviet KGB agent); Yitzchak Shamir, the "former" member of the brazenly Marxist, terrorist Freedom Fighters of Israel (FFI) (aka, the "Stern Gang"), which collaborated with both the Soviets and the Axis Powers in World War II; and current prime minister Ehud Olmert, whose daughter is an active Marxist involved in Communist-front groups and whose wife is, by Olmert's own admission, equally "left wing" (i.e., Marxist). All of these Likud leaders played central roles in forcing Israeli surrender to the PLO even while pretending to be "right wing." And you can be certain thousands of hidden Communist spies likewise populate the lower levels of Likud.

With the current Israeli government led by the traitorous Olmert as prime minister and Labor Socialist Amir Peretz as defense minister, it's no wonder Israeli forces aren't being allowed to win. In 1982, Prime Minister Menachem Begin (the nation's only non-treasonous leader in its modern history) responded to a similar PLO threat (of Katyusha missiles being fired from Lebanon) by sending full Israeli military force in a lightning invasion of Lebanon. Three armored columns, backed by air power and cluster bombs, rapidly penetrated well-armed, entrenched PLO lines and neutralized the entire threat within days. Had it not been for desperate pressure from the Reagan Administration, Begin would have destroyed the entire PLO then and there, permanently eradicating that terrorist threat from the face of the earth (and Hezbollah would never have come into existence).

But Olmert's government fights like the U.S. in Vietnam. Not a day goes by without Israeli leaders openly declaring they have no intention of invading Lebanon or destroying Hezbollah. Israeli ground forces are only allowed to conduct pin-point strikes near the border before retreating hours later, or to struggle without adequate weaponry or air support to take a handful of villages along the border — and even that pathetic response was delayed more than a week after the war's start. Every single day, Israeli forces are required to withdraw from whatever territory they gained, allowing Hezbollah to take it back and starting the same fight over from scratch. Bombs aren't dropped on any strategic targets; only missile launchers and "symbolic" targets are hit, to "send a message" to the enemy. They get the message, all right; they're laughing at Israel's self-inflicted impotence.

The same goes on in Gaza, where Israeli forces won't strike any real targets, they leave the enemy secure in protected zones, and they quickly retreat after every accidental victory, thus allowing the PLO and Hamas to retake strategic territory. They're not even bothering to stop terrorists from launching daily Kassam missile bombardments from Gaza.

If the Olmert government truly wanted to win, the fight would have been finished days ago, with the PLO, Hamas, and Hezbollah utterly exterminated and the threat forever gone.

But if loyal, patriotic Israelis might think of overthrowing the government and establishing a military junta that would win the war, they're in for a surprise. Communist agents have certainly infiltrated all parts of the military and police, honeycombing not only officers and commanders but the rank and file as well with numerous cells that would disrupt any attempt at a genuine takeover. The same applies to the civilian right wing and the settler movement. One can see signs of this massive subversion, for example, in the right-wing media organization Arutz Sheva, whose founders were imprisoned and replaced with new, undercover agents of Mossad or other Israeli intelligence (themselves under heavy penetration and control by traitorous Communists) who redirect the fight from Communism to "Arabs," "Muslims," or other diversions and who undermine and sabotage the right-wing resistance through numerous techniques of psychological warfare. We personally know of Communists agents with Trotskyite or similar affiliations who have become trusted mid-level leaders in the Israeli settler movement. And the pro-Israel lobby in American was neutralized over a decade ago by agents of Israeli intelligence, who purged all those organizations of loyal leaders and replaced them with more cooperative lackeys; today, not a single "pro-Israel" group (other than JAHG-USA) calls for a total elimination of U.S. funding for the PLO.

Under these conditions, there's no way to win, and no way to overthrow the government and replace it with a loyal one. So there must be another answer.

Relevant Torah Principles:
1) Under Jewish Law, a traitor against the Jewish people (a "moser" in Hebrew, literally an "informant") is liable to immediate death penalty. No court or judges need to meet to declare the sentence; any Jew who discovers such a spy is commanded to kill him on the spot, if at all possible. This especially applies to wartime traitors who threaten the lives and security of the entire nation. This principle was applied routinely by both of the most recent Rebbes of the Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic movement, who placed their followers on standing orders to kill any Jew in Soviet Russia found to be an informant for the KGB secret police. This directive was often carried out, and as recently as the 1960s or 1970s, Lubavitch rabbis dispatched on missions by the Rebbe in the Soviet Union discovered and killed Jews working for the KGB.

2) If the spies cannot be killed (i.e., for practical reasons), they must at least be neutralized. Exposing them publicly, and throwing them out of all our activities and organizations, ruins their ability to sabotage our efforts.

3) The Torah clearly commands us not to conduct even minimal conversation with members or agents of Amalek, the hidden nation of evil that drives the world revolution. Even talking with them allows them to use psychological methods of deception and manipulation, including planting doubts in one's thinking. When we are at war with Amalek, we are commanded to kill all of them (and their agents, including Jewish traitors) immediately without first talking with them. We are forbidden to treat them "fairly," for they do not return the favor, and their continued existence poses a dire threat to ours.

4) The Talmud and rabbinical traditions of prophecy dating back thousands of years have predicted that, in this final generation when the true Moshiach (Messiah) comes, the Jewish people (and all governments and nations of the world) would be saturated with spies of the "armies of Gog and Magog," identified in Jewish tradition as being headquartered in Russia. According to these authoritative Jewish traditions, the enemy's armies would succeed specifically because of these traitors in our midst, and that salvation would not come from G-d until we wake up to realize how badly infiltrated we are.

Analysis:
Ultimately, the reason we are losing is the interlocking web of informants and agents in our own ranks. They pose as orthodox rabbis, as the most outspoken right-wing leaders or settlers, and as some of our best friends. None of us is free of such agents swirling all about. We haven't the faintest chance of taking back the Israeli government and winning the war without first going through the messy, painful process of identifying the spies and shutting them out of our activities.

The best way to identify most of those spies, at this moment, is by pushing the JAHG-USA campaign to defund the PLO. Nothing flushes out the traitors like the one project they're most determined to discourage. Try pushing it, and see who treats JAHG-USA with active coldness, disinterest, contempt, or even outright hostility. Those who do are absolutely, positively enemy infiltrators — no matter how many years you've known them or how close or trustworthy they have seemed to you. And those people must be aggressively shut out of your life. If they call on the phone, hang up; if they approach you, loudly expose them before your friends and walk away; if you see your friends still dealing with them, warn your friends to stop — or shut them out, too (those who lack the emotional strength to isolate the spies are open doors for the subversion, and are equally dangerous to us).

Once the JAHG-USA campaign begins to grow and succeed, the remaining spies will adapt and pretend to support it. So at that time, we'll have to change our techniques to continue flushing them out. But this is the best way to start.

THE HALL OF SHAME…
Have Some Jewish Leaders Betrayed the Torah?

This week's example:
Rabbi Yisroel Pichey, Yeshiva & Mesivta of Brooklyn, Brooklyn, NY

A couple of weeks ago, we profiled the "refusenik" Rabbi Shlomo Mandel, Dean of the orthodox (though non-Hasidic) Yeshiva & Mesivta of Brooklyn, a prominent school for Jewish boys. He refused to sign the PLO-defunding Proclamation, even while essentially admitting there was nothing wrong with the document, unless he could hide behind other prominent rabbis who would sign first.

On that same visit to the yeshiva (last September 29th), the JAHG-USA volunteer first went to Rabbi Pichey, one of the yeshiva's teachers working under Rabbi Mandel. Since his boss hadn't yet been approached and hadn't yet refused, Rabbi Pichey didn't have any basis to fear speaking out. But there seems to be a general atmosphere of cowardice, so he started making various evasive excuses not to sign (none of which rejected the content of the Proclamation itself). Upon our volunteer's persistence, Rabbi Pichey took the Proclamation over to a fellow teacher to ask what he thought (as if he doesn't have his own mind or conscience!). Then he sent our volunteer to the Dean (Rabbi Mandel, who then refused, as mentioned above); by the time the volunteer returned to ask Rabbi Pichey one last time, the rabbi had conveniently vanished and was not to be found.

"Passing the buck" is a widespread disease, as it turns out. Perhaps someone will develop a vaccine…

…AND THE HALL OF FAME
Many Jewish Leaders Are Helping the JAHG-USA Campaign

Rabbi Lieberman was approached with the PLO-defunding Proclamation last October 31st. He needed time to read it carefully, and when the JAHG-USA volunteer returned at his next opportunity (November 10th), the rabbi signed.

Rabbi Levine was then approached that same day, and he signed on the spot. He runs his own synagogue, the Young Israel of Ave. "J," which is affiliated with the national Young Israel organization of synagogues.

Rabbi Greenberg was originally approached on October 31st, and like Rabbi Lieberman, asked for time to look it over. Our volunteer returned to get his signature on November 16th. He is the rabbi of a synagogue in Brooklyn, Congregation Beth Tikvah Knesseth Israel.

Interestingly, Rabbi Greenberg mentioned that he didn't think the PLO-defunding campaign would succeed, but he had promised earlier to sign and wanted to keep his commitment. He also wished us luck. Many rabbis with the same pessimistic outlook succumb to their fears and become "refuseniks," whereas Rabbi Greenberg acted according to the Torah principle that one must do what is right, even if it doesn't seem likely to succeed. His action provides an outstanding example for other rabbis to emulate.

(Incidentally, his misguided pessimism results from an atmosphere of demoralization promoted by enemy agents disguised as "observant" Jews; the campaign will ultimately prevail in the not-too-distant future, regardless of all opposition.)

All three rabbis are members of the leading rabbinical council for the Flatbush area of Brooklyn, and their endorsements followed in the wake of the council's leadership endorsing the JAHG-USA campaign. The Proclamation they signed declares that every single person is obligated to participate in JAHG-USA's PLO-defunding efforts. That means you.

• (In response to our refutation of Christian accusations against King David):
"…After building the temple, [King] Solomon proceeded to turn his back on G-d, making alliances with hundreds of women from other cultures and following their gods: I Kings 11:4, 'As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the L-rd his G-d, as the heart of David his father had been.'… Solomon died a lonely, bitter man (read all of Ecclesiastes) who knew the truth but had failed to live it.…" — DJ.

Our response to this letter, part 5: This is another example of a severe misunderstanding of Scripture by Christians, who lack the complete Word of G-d (including His Spoken Word) and thus are able to fall for propaganda by Church leaders bent on discrediting G-d's Law and His Truth.

King Solomon did much more than "make alliances" with women from gentile nations; he married them (after they converted to become Jews, of course). Seven hundred of them, to be precise. And that was his one sin; under Jewish Law, the king is restricted to a maximum of 18 wives, precisely because of the potentially corrupting influence they could have in greater numbers.

But it is not correct to suggest that King Solomon worshipped idols or that he "died a lonely, bitter man." These notions were invented by leaders of the Christian Church as part of their smear campaign against righteous Jewish leaders, whom they sought to discredit as part of the Jesus-led rebellion against G-d's Law.

A careful look at the Biblical text shows some interesting discrepancies. In that chapter of I Kings, King Solomon is repeatedly described as having had his heart turned "after" other gods, but doesn't ever say he worshipped those gods. That's significant, because his foreign wives are explicitly described as worshipping the idols right there, in verse 8. If the text had meant to say he worshipped false gods, it would clearly have done so.

Moreover, King Solomon's heart is described therein as not being "complete" (verse 4) or "entirely filled" (verse 6) after G-d. Now, I don't even need to cite the hundreds or thousands of passages throughout the Bible that describe idolatry as literally the worst sin a person could commit, as a complete and utter rejection of G-d the Creator. A person who worships a single idol (or a man-god such as Buddha or Jesus) is considered as if he totally rejected G-d, and would never be described as having a heart that just isn't quite "complete" with G-d. Idolatry is a severe sin, punished both by earthly courts (as required by Biblical Law) and by the hand of G-d with death. It's never criticized as mildly as King Solomon is in this passage.

The missing answer is provided by the same person who wrote the book of Kings, the prophet Jeremiah. The oral traditions of G-d's Spoken Word to Jeremiah, preserved by the same rabbis who later chose the book of Kings for inclusion in Scripture, state clearly that only Solomon's wives, not Solomon himself, worshipped false gods. Indeed, it was his wives who built the temples to their gods, but because they did so using their authority as queens and the national treasury, their sin was counted — indirectly — as being ultimately the responsibility of King Solomon himself. Those hundreds of wives had pretended to convert to Judaism for ulterior purposes (King Solomon's great wealth and power), not because they were willing to abandon their gentile idolatry and place themselves under G-d's Law.

Why did King Solomon marry them in the first place? Because, according to the Talmudic traditions preserved by the prophet Jeremiah and the rabbis who compiled the Bible, Solomon saw that the Jewish people were ready for the Messianic Era in which the whole world lives under G-d's Law, and he mistakenly thought gentiles were ready, too. But the gentiles were still wedded to their worship of man-gods and other idols as excuses not to live under the Law. Solomon thought he would bring all the gentile societies of the earth under G-d's Law by marrying royal daughters from all nations, but in reality he only brought gentile idolatry into the Jewish government. That contaminating influence ended up lowering the Jewish people back into idolatrous practices copied from gentile cultures.

King Solomon did realize his sin (of marrying those wives) and warned others not to make the same mistakes by writing the book of Ecclesiastes, which spends 12 chapters condemning all human pursuits except following G-d's Law, and finally concludes (12:13): "The end of the matter, everything having been heard: Fear G-d and keep His commandments, for that is the entirety of man." Man does not exist for any purpose except to follow the Law. That's hardly the message of a "lonely, bitter man"; it's the powerful wisdom of a holy man of G-d (minus one sin from which he learned) who built the Jerusalem Temple, brought all Jews and many gentiles under the Law, and wrote holy books that the rabbis later incorporated into the Bible.

What's the real lesson of Solomon's mistake? Jews must remain aware that, even while working to influence gentiles to come back under G-d's Law, that they must also be careful not to allow false gentile religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, or Christianity to have any influence in the reverse direction. Jews are commanded to be a "light to the gentiles," not to permit the idolatrous darkness of gentile cultures to contaminate Jewish culture. There are many Christians today who marry Jews to pull them into the idolatry of Christianity (sometimes disguised as so-called "Jews for Jesus" or "messianic Jews," who are usually gentiles, not Jews), and that technique often succeeds at alienating Jews from their holy traditions of the Hebrew Bible, the Talmud, etc.
