JAHG-USA Newsletter: Week of 12 Av, 5766 / August 6, 2006

"Should we maintain the foreign aid to Congo?" Every respondent agreed, including one "other" response, that foreign aid to Congo should not continue, and most voted for taking other action to fix Congo's problems. All these opinions were based on the identification of Congo as a Communist country, according to the short comments people sent.

Factual Background:
The local Communists, backed by the Soviet Union and Che Guevara, nearly took the Belgian Congo in the early 1960s during the brief power vacuum as the Belgians withdrew and abandoned their colony. But even with United Nations intervention to help the revolutionaries, the bloody, murderous Communists soon lost their fragile hold on power and were overthrown; their leader, Patrice Lumumba, was killed by the Congolese who were sick and tired of his grisly murders.

Lumumba's second in command, Laurent Kabila, regrouped with the surviving terrorists and waited for another opportunity.

In the early 1960s, there hadn't been any Communists regimes around Congo to support the revolutionaries. But by the late 1990s, that had changed; now every single one of the nine nations bordering Zaire (as Congo was known) were solidly in Communist hands. Several of those, especially Uganda (Communist since the 1980s), Rwanda (Communist since the early 1990s), Burundi (Communist since the 1960s), and Tanzania (Communist since the 1960s) began funneling massive amounts of weapons and ammunition to Kabila's murderous forces, and during 1997, as Zairean leader Mobutu was being treated for cancer, Kabila's forces moved in and quickly conquered the impoverished, nearly defenseless nation.

Kabila's revolutionaries wasted no time in renaming the nation the "Democratic Republic of the Congo," a stereotypically Marxist title, and proceeding to the first, most critical step of any Communist revolution: mass murder. The aim of Communist genocide is the random elimination of five or ten percent of the population, or in some cases, one third or more of the people (as in Cambodia).

But it would have been difficult to conceal such a mass extermination from the outside world, especially in the modern age of high-technology communication and travel. So the Communists adopted another tactic for concealing the systematic, coldly calculated Holocaust: They formed numerous groups, essentially names on paper, for making the civilian deaths appear to be the "side product" of fighting between the groups. But the groups hardly touched one another; rather, they coordinated their efforts to maximize civilian extermination. Operating under a bewildering array of names such as the Alliance of Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Congo-Zaire (AFDL), the Congolese Liberation Movement (MLC), the Congolese Rally for Democracy (RCD), the Union of Congolese Patriots (UPC), etc., the terrorists received backing and orders from the Communist regimes of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, and Angola in moving from village to village as they randomly chose the men, women, and children that they butchered at will all across the Congo.

By 2003, human rights and charity organizations estimated the slaughter at well over 4 million and growing. Yet even as many of those militias now continue their deadly work in parts of the Congo (with an estimated minimum of 1,000 Congelese being murdered every single day), they or their comrades in fellow militias have been openly incorporated into the Communist government of the Congo, based in Kinshasa. The dictator is now Joseph Kabila, son of the assassinated Laurent, who is conducting a colossal farce of "elections" in the terrorized, brutalized land he now controls. It's a publicity stunt for the outside, meant to help justify the $400 million in annual aid provided by the United States to keep his bloody, hated regime in power. Even if the average Congolese citizen had any idea who the candidates are, his vote wouldn't make the slightest difference — because all the candidates are Communists, members of the various death squads and terror militias.

The fall of Congo to the Communists completes a Red belt that covers almost all of sub-Saharan Africa today, giving the Soviets and Red Chinese unimpeded access to the abundant precious metals and other natural resources of that tortured continent even while the blood flows in rivers to impose Marxist hatred of G-d and His Will.

Relevant Torah Principles:
1) While there is no specific commandment under the Noahide Laws requiring gentiles to give time and money to charitable causes ("tzedaka," in Hebrew), Torah sources in the Talmud and elsewhere do refer to an obligation of gentiles to help the needy. According to the Lubavitcher Rebbe, this means any tzedaka required for the benefit of society, to ensure its stable, productive growth and development, is a moral requirement binding on gentiles, for which individual gentiles and even entire nations may be punished with G-d's wrath for failing to give. That means that to some extent, the plight of people anywhere in the world is our business.

2) If our aid is being used, not for the benefit of the people in a foreign country, but to keep a weak, unstable Communist regime in power to murder the people and destroy their economy and society, then that aid must stop. If that is not enough to bring down the Communist regime, then more active measures must be taken. As long as a regime remains in power that prevents any possibility of charitable assistance, private or public, then action must be taken against that evil regime. When millions of lives are at stake, the urgency becomes all the stronger, especially under the Torah mandate to save lives.

3) When the regime in question is also a threat to the security of nations in general, and of our own national security in particular, then the Noahide commandment of establishing justice further compels action to remove the danger. That includes a regime that works to spread revolution internationally, as well as one that commands vital resources or strategic geographical locations, giving the enemy a military advantage.

Analysis:
It would not take much to bring down the Communist occupation regimes all across Africa; a simple termination of aid to those ruling powers might be sufficient. If not, intervention by even small American forces could easily topple the Marxist governments — as has been amply proven by the French over the last couple of decades, when they intervened in certain African nations.

For reasons of both national security and humanitarian saving of lives, America is required under Torah Law to act decisively. But since Communists and their allies currently dominate the U.S. State Department and our foreign policy, we will first have to conduct a thorough house cleaning in our own government before such action becomes possible.

G-d has blessed America with great wealth, but that comes with the responsibility to use it for His purposes. If Americans fail to take action to save Africa (and thereby America) from Communism, then American resources will instead continue to be funneled into supporting that same Communist revolution. And G-d will judge America most harshly for neglecting its duties in the face of its great wealth and leisure time.

Labor unions have been declining in size and strength for years, but many religious authorities advocate working to rebuild them as a moral duty. Should we assist labor unions?

(2) It's more important not to cross picket lines than to build more unions.
(3) Yes, we need more workers unionized and united.

Subversion Alert

This week:
Berel Lazar, Moscow, Soviet Russia

Another leading "orthodox" rabbi in attendance at the Moscow "World Summit of Religious Leaders" last month was Berel Lazar, longtime member of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement and official Chief Rabbi of Soviet Russia. It was bad enough that he attended, given that Jewish Law has always strictly prohibited any interfaith meetings by Jews, much less by rabbis. But he also spoke, by invitation of the conference's KGB organizers, and furthermore used that moment in the limelight to do nothing but endorse the Marxist agenda of Soviet Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, who had previously opened the conference with his own speech defining the meeting's sinister goals.

Lazar originally moved to Soviet Russia in 1990, while it still openly called itself the Soviet Union and its rulers didn't hesitate to call themselves Communists. Lazar didn't go of his own accord; he was invited by the local Jewish community in Moscow, which had for decades been infiltrated and solidly controlled by the KGB secret police. That invitation itself is enough to suspect Lazar of being a Communist agent.

But he hasn't worked all that hard to hide it ever since, apparently counting on the myth of a "post-Communist" Russia to hide his true, Red colors. After the so-called "breakup" of the Soviet Union in 1991, Boris Yeltsin and his fellow Communist rulers named Lazar to be the official Chief Rabbi of Judaism for all Russia, effectively bringing all Jewish activities under his control. He's been especially supported by KGB chief (now dictator) Vladimir Putin and his fellow "former" (but still quite active) KGB officers, who obviously run the operation for which Lazar is the puppet spokesman.

Lazar is so loyal to his KGB/FSB masters that he takes the Communist position on virtually every issue. He denies the existence of thousands of concentration camps all around him, despite ongoing eyewitness testimony that documents those camps are fuller and deadlier than ever. But for that matter, Lazar apparently denies that thousands of camps, including dozens of death camps, existed in the 1980s under the Soviet Union! Naturally, Lazar also denies the ongoing reports of active KGB/FSB secret police networks that permeate society and terrorize all Russians daily.

When the neo-Soviet rulers re-sealed the Russian borders in the early 1990s, preventing all but a small percentage of Jews from emigrating and keeping the remainder trapped behind, Lazar stepped forward to endorse the measure as a way of holding together Jewish communities. Presumably he would have given the same defense of Nazi guards keeping Jewish prisoners in the concentration camps of World War II. In fact, Lazar brazenly pretends that life in Soviet Russia today is free, democratic, and open, cold-bloodedly ignoring the raging police state and genocide surrounding him everywhere.

Unsurprisingly, then, Lazar also meets publicly with the KGB agents posing as bishops of the phony Russian Orthodox Church and as Imams of Russian Islam (which also violates the prohibition on interfaith meetings). Lazar doesn't stop there; he has generated considerable controversy by publicly meeting with, and warmly endorsing, openly anti-Semitic Communist leaders such as Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of the KGB-front Pamyat Party and the Liberal Democratic Party who espouses a "final solution" to the Jewish question, and Dmitri Rogozin, another Communist leading the Motherland Party. Rogozin openly works with the Socialist Fifth International, a KGB-controlled umbrella organization of leftist parties throughout the world, and both he and Zhirinovsky have been shunned by Israeli and American Jews. But birds of a feather do get along well together.

Lazar likewise works closely with Israel's Chief Ashkenazic Rabbi, Yona Metzger, in collaborating with such top Communist leaders as Leonid Kuchma, former dictator of Soviet Ukraine. And Lazar not only works closely with the KGB-front Inter-Religious Council of Russia (which controls all religious activity in the nation), but he has also recently established the international Congress of Russian-Speaking Jewry to bring all Jewish emigres from Russia back under Soviet KGB control, such that they would be pressured to echo the Communist line while acting as spies and agents in their new home countries (i.e., America and Israel). And, of course, Lazar publicly lobbies against all U.S. economic sanctions that prevent Soviet Russia from acquiring the military technology it badly needs in mobilizing for war.

So no one should be shocked that Lazar, in his speech at the Moscow Summit last month, openly endorsed Putin's agenda and blamed terrorism, not on Communism, but on religious "extremism" — meaning Jews, Christians, and others who oppose abortion, gay rights, Israeli surrender, environmentalism, or any other item on the Marxist agenda. Or the merger of religions into a Marxist, New World Order pseudo-religion headquartered in Moscow.

That's exactly the message being promoted these days by Yona Metzger (Lazar's ally), Adin Steinsaltz (former head of the bogus "Sanhedrin"), Yoel Schwartz (the phony "Sanhedrin's" new head), and everyone connected with the subversive, Communist-front Root & Branch Association (R & B).

Is a picture emerging from all this?

(Note: The underground Communist apparatus and its aboveground tentacles are actively engaged in subversion in all sectors and institutions of society today. Its agents would dearly love to know the full extent of our information, which would assist their disinformation efforts. Consequently, we do not divulge all our facts or sources. These profiles are intended only as a warning to the wise to monitor the individuals and groups exposed here, and to avoid their influence.)

With the steady stream of endorsements from the Vaad HaRabonim (leading rabbinical council) of Brooklyn's Flatbush area, we figured we'd ask another Vaad member for his signature. So a JAHG-USA volunteer approached Rabbi Harari, the head of the (orthodox, non-Hasidic) Kol Israel synagogue, with a copy of our PLO-defunding Proclamation last October 16th. But that's when we discovered that even having endorsing rabbis all around doesn't overcome some people's cowardice.

It quickly became clear Rabbi Harari didn't want to get involved in any issue, but he couldn't decide what reason to come up with. He started by complaining that we publicize the names of "refuseniks" who don't sign, saying he refuses to support a campaign that shames "refuseniks." But since he didn't want to be shamed himself, he cooked up a second reason: He decided he didn't like the mention of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in the Proclamation, even though he couldn't come up with a reason why the Rebbe shouldn't be mentioned. Then he tacitly admitted he didn't mind the Rebbe's name being mentioned after all, as long as other rabbinical names would be mentioned with him. But he didn't suggest any other names.

So by now he was admitting that, in principal, he didn't mind endorsing the campaign after all, but was merely quibbling over minor points of wording — without having anything better to suggest.

No doubt realizing how silly he sounded at this point, he again switched rationales and decided that the Proclamation was just "too political" for him (his own words). The fact that it was perfectly acceptable for hundreds of other rabbis, including top leaders, didn't faze him. In the end, he just wasn't going to sign. Period. Reasons can always be invented later.

But Rabbi Harari will probably be glad to endorse once the terrorist bombs and missiles are directed at his own house. By that time, however, it'll be a bit late.

Terrorism Update:

The Bush Administration is still funding the escalating PLO/Hezbollah war against Israelis, Turks, Arabs, and Americans through direct aid to PLO organizations, aid to Communist Lebanon and Communist Egypt, funding of the United Nations, and foreign aid to certain non-Communist Arab governments — all of whom are aiding Hezbollah. So this is what your tax dollars are accomplishing:

Summary of terror attacks, Wednesday (August 2) through Tuesday (August 8): Seeing Israelis successfully paralyzed by their own government's treasonous "leaders," PLO/Hezbollah forces in Lebanon became emboldened this last week and stepped up the missile attacks dramatically. A staggering minimum of 1268 Soviet Russian Katyusha missiles were fired into Israel, directed specifically at civilian targets mostly in urban areas; 34 residents were killed and more than 500 injured, not including enormous numbers of homes and offices damaged or destroyed, hundreds of acres burned in forest fires, numerous cars incinerated, and some cows and chickens killed.

Because PLO/Hezbollah cynically targets Arab towns and Arab neighborhoods of cities such as Haifa, about half of all civilian casualties in Israel have been Arabs. At least 9 of the killed civilians were Arabs, including a mother of 2 young children, and another mother and her two daughters — all killed in their own homes by direct hits with Katyusha missiles. The object, of course, is to terrorize Arabs into believing Israel can no longer protect them and that they must begin siding with the PLO enemy to have any chance of survival.

The Russian Katyushas were supplemented with at least 3 Khaibar-1 missiles and one 220mm missile, all made in Communist Syria and having longer range and greater explosive power. PLO/Hezbollah forces also fired at least 12 mortar shells across the border, damaging some homes.

The fighting in Lebanon took the lives of 26 Israeli soldiers and injured at least 57 others.

Meanwhile, PLO and allied groups continued their usual attacks in PLO-occupied Gaza and the West Bank. At least 10 shorter-range Kassam missiles were fired from Gaza, and there were multiple incidents of gunfire at civilian cars or Israeli soldiers, at least 1 firebomb thrown, bombs (including pipe bombs) planted, stone-throwing attacks, and mortar shellings. PLO death squads shot a palestinian woman dead at an Israeli checkpoint, and murdered 6 other palestinian Arabs who had previously been kidnapped and held in PLO "prisons" for failing to collaborate with the Marxist PLO revolution.

This week's casualty count in Israel (not counting dead & injured terrorists):

Successful: 34 murdered by missiles; 7 murdered by PLO forces in Israel; over 500 civilians injured; 26 soldiers killed; at least 57 soldiers injured; uncountable fires; uncountable homes, businesses, & cars damaged or destroyed
Prevented: 2 suicide bombings; 4 bombings
Attempted but failed to hit targets: hundreds of Katyusha missiles; 10 Kassam missiles; several mortar attacks; 1 firebombing; 5 shooting attacks; 1 stone-throwing riot

By distracting Israelis with the foolish notion that their enemy is the Arab masses, the Communists can maintain this quagmire "war" that slowly drags down Israeli morale and resources and gradually weakens their will to resist Marxist revolution. If the enemy is Arabs, then there wouldn't be any reason to suspect Israeli leaders of deliberate, coldly planned treason, nor to expect too many other countries to come to the rescue of PLO/Hezbollah. On the other hand, once Israelis realize their true enemy is the Communist International and not Arabs, then everything reverses; plenty of Communists and their collaborators occupy top positions in the Israeli government (including Prime Minister Olmert and much of his cabinet) and in the "right wing" settler movement, while no Israeli would be willing to tolerate aid to Hezbollah by Russia, Red China, and other Communist Bloc regimes.

So, naturally, the PLO did its best this week to throw in propaganda about Arabs backing the PLO/Hezbollah murderers who are holding them hostage. A "survey" conducted by a PLO-allied front in the West Bank released bizarre numbers claiming that palestinian Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza adore the Hezbollah terrorists who rain missiles down on them daily, and that they love the PLO and Hamas who torture and murder their fathers, mothers, and children. The pollsters probably didn't even bother polling any Arabs; after all, the PLO knows better what those hostage Arab populations should be thinking, and any who don't cooperate will be liquidated by appropriate death squads on short order! But that didn't stop the phony Arutz Sheva organization from gleefully quoting those obviously fabricated numbers as "proof" that the enemy is Arab, not Communist.

Arutz Sheva, as we've pointed out before, has for years been under the control of Israeli intelligence agents whose loyalties aren't to Israel, and who use the media group as a tool of sabotage and confusion among the Israeli right wing.

But the PLO/Hezbollah forces are, in fact, Communist traitors against the Arab people, selling them out to the Marxist revolution that plans a massive genocide against Arabs. That's why the United Nations (UN) is proving ever more openly sympathetic to Hezbollah, while Soviet Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Condoleezza Rice, member of the Fabian Socialist Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), are stepping in to save PLO/Hezbollah from being worn down by Israeli persistence.

The Communist Bloc also continues to resupply Hezbollah in Lebanon, mostly through Communist Syria and Marxist Iran. But there may be yet another channel of aid to the terrorists: This week, news reports inadvertently mentioned that some of the UN "peacekeeping" forces in southern Lebanon are… Red Chinese troops! That puts Red China in a perfect position to provide a steady supply of armaments directly to Hezbollah while feigning neutrality under UN colors.

That explains why Putin, the CFR-dominated Bush Administration, the Communist government of Lebanon, and the UN are all so eager to place a larger UN force in Lebanon to replace Israeli troops. If that happens, Hezbollah will mysteriously be able to rebuild its forces very quickly, with the aid of those blue-helmeted "peacekeepers."

And then the attacks will start all over again…

Many Jewish Leaders Are Helping the JAHG-USA Campaign

Last November's annual conference of Chabad representatives proved to be the jackpot for JAHG-USA's PLO-defunding campaign, which already had a growing momentum by that time but was rocketed into a solid tide of support within a few days. Rabbis from all around the world converged on Crown Heights, the Brooklyn area that serves as the worldwide headquarters of the Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic movement. And many of them were more than happy to sign up in favor of our campaign. These are three more endorsements we received on November 23rd, the day before the convention began, as out-of-country representatives arrived in town first:

Rabbi Mann runs a Chabad House in the mid-sized town of Or Akiva in northern Israel, a few miles south of Haifa and well within the kill zone of PLO/Hezbollah rockets in recent weeks. It wouldn't hurt to offer some prayers for the rabbi and his congregation in the current war.

Rabbi Schwartz's Chabad synagogue is located in some place called Kazrin in Israel. But try as we might, we haven't been able to figure out where that is. Perhaps it's a newer settlement. If anyone knows where to find Kazrin, please send us an e-mail.

Rabbi Lernoboy has his Chabad synagogue directly in the Haifa metro area, which has received numerous missile hits from Lebanon this last month. He, too, could use our prayers as the rockets land all around his congregation.

• (In response to our May 21st issue of this newsletter, where we explained the Torah position on archaeological finds):
"What is your opinion of such styles of architecture as an obelisk (Washington monument) or Roman temples? Is in not the job of G-d to [destroy them], not men?" — NB.

Our response: In the May 21st issue of this newsletter, we reviewed the Torah rules regarding ancient artifacts and archaeological discoveries. Since many or most of those are idolatrous in nature, we explained that it is required to destroy most of those items rather than keeping them for display, which is forbidden to both Jews and gentiles. We also mentioned that the United Nations is promoting the preservation of such idolatrous finds in order to undermine subtly the reverence for monotheistic religion.

The Washington monument is indisputably a Freemasonic obelisk (and publicly acknowledged as such). Freemasonry is entirely a pagan, idolatrous cult that has resurrected many of the concepts, symbols, and practices of ancient idolatry and Gnosticism for the purpose of undermining monotheistic religion in general and Jewish influence in particular. Some branches of Freemasonry are even more radical, openly participating in subversion and violence as part of the Communist world revolution.

Consequently, there is little doubt the Torah would classify obelisks and similar occult items as idolatrous. That would mean they must be destroyed, reduced to dust and scattered to the winds so that even the dust cannot be used for any purpose. That is the clear ruling of Torah for idolatrous items, and we are commanded accordingly. It's not an option.

Without question, that same ruling applies to ancient pagan temples in Egypt, Rome, or Greece. Under Torah law, such buildings can only be negated from their idolatrous taint by gentiles who believe in the particular idolatries practiced in those particular temples; if such gentiles were to have used the temples for entirely non-religious purposes, such as warehouses for crates or storage of consumer goods, the buildings could have been "cleaned up" for other use. But to our knowledge, that never happened. Which means those temples remain idolatrous and unusable, and since the pagan cults practiced in those temples no longer exist, there aren't any gentiles who could negate their idolatry. Thus Torah requires us, Jews and gentiles alike, to tear down what remains of those buildings and grind them into pieces.

These are commandments of G-d's Law, and we don't have the prerogative to ignore them. But we can also ponder the fact that there isn't any practical use for such buildings anyway; at this point, they're only being used to generate tourist revenue for the locals.
