"Issues of World War III" Survey

"Which side should America have taken in the Yugoslav wars of the 1990s?" The majority of responses (60%) decided that both sides were no good, 20% favored the Serbs, and the balance did not take a clear position. There weren't too many comments this time, but here are some excerpts:

• "…all the… parties are communist controlled."
• "The U.S. military should have destroyed the root cause which brought this war in the first place, the Soviet Union…"
• "Once again we helped muslims defeat a christian nation. Will we ever learn?…"

Factual Background:
In the 1920s, Soviet dictator Nikolai Lenin needed to take the heat off the vulnerable Communist revolution then in power in the new Soviet Union. To divert possible intervention by foreign powers reacting to the Soviet sponsorship of revolution and terrorism in other countries, Lenin and his top Communists (together with the top officers of the Cheka, or secret police) created a fictitious movement of "ex-Communist dissidents" who supposedly wanted to lead Russia back into the civilized world. This organization, known to Western intelligence as the "Trust," successfully fooled outside governments for several years, delaying an attack until the anti-Communist steam ran out, fed troves of phony documents full of disinformation that badly confused Western intelligence officials, and suckered Western companies into building the Soviet Union's first military-industrial complex right inside Russia. By the time the deception was revealed, the Communists were able to laugh while Western leaders had egg all over their faces; Communism had become more thoroughly entrenched in Russia and relatively stabilized, while the resolve of anti-Communists was withering.

In the wake of World War II, the Communists had to pull the same trick, but on a larger scale. At that time, there was a real possibility that Americans would demand an invasion and liberation of the Soviet Union from Stalin's dictatorship, and certainly to free Eastern Europe from Soviet occupation. So the Communists orchestrated a series of bogus "anti-Communist" rebellions throughout Eastern Europe, from Poland down to Albania. Each of these movements, working closely (but in secret) with their Soviet secret police masters, created fictional "fighting" in the streets of Eastern European cities that was so realistic it actually fooled seasoned intelligence agents from America and Western Europe, who were brought in to witness the theatrics. Guns loaded with blanks were fired; old, hollowed-out tanks were pre-filled with explosives set to go off as a CIA agent came around the corner, appearing as if the tank had been destroyed by an anti-tank missile; and phony reports of dead men from combat were continuously generated. Western governments were tricked into supplying money and gold, top-secret documents, weapons, and technology to the bogus "rebels" — until the Communists had fully consolidated their rule, at which point they openly dropped the pretense and publicly mocked Western intelligence for their stupidity.

In 1961, the highest-level Soviet KGB agent ever to defect escaped to the West through Finland. His name was Major Anatoliy Golitsyn, and he brought convincing, air-tight proof that the Soviets were planning yet another such deception, but on a grand, global scale. Years of testing and challenges within the American CIA and British MI-6 proved, without a doubt, that Golitsyn was right, and the heads of Western counterintelligence were persuaded. Yet pro-Communists influences in those agencies worked hard to bury the Golitsyn revelations, and working together with Soviet agents of deception, those influences managed to squeeze Golitsyn out of the CIA and then to purge America's and England's finest counterintelligence staffs — to clear the way for new officers who rejected the Golitsyn revelations.

Already during the 1970s, Golitsyn predicted that Communism would stage its own, fictional "collapse" while remaining in power and even accelerating the international Communist revolution. He predicted with absolute perfection the coming to power of Solidarity in Poland, the Dubcek revival in Czechoslovakia, the tearing down of the Berlin Wall, the breakup of the Soviet Union, and even gave accurate descriptions of the kinds of leaders who would be selected — descriptions that later precisely matched Mikhail Gorbachev, Egon Krenz, Vladimir Putin, and many others. Based on his personal knowledge as having previously participated in drawing up the plans for the grand deception, Golitsyn even predicted the date — no later than 1989, which is precisely when the staged "collapse" took place!

Among his other stunningly accurate predictions, Golitsyn revealed that the Communists would orchestrate a phony "conflict" in Yugoslavia, the intent being to draw the Western powers into a military quagmire. And that is precisely what happened in the 1990s.

The so-called "end" of Yugoslav Communism was as phony as everywhere else. The Communist Part continued its rule, maintaining its socialism, its police state, and its militaristic grip on the nation while creating the illusion that Yugoslavia had broken up into several mini-states — each under the control of "former" Communists such as Slobodan Milosevic, the "former" head of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia.

The Soviets openly provided military assistance to the Serb "side," while also maintaining a steady flow of weapons to the "opposed" Bosnian Muslim "side" through Iran. In fact, Soviet Russian and Ukrainian troops showed up personally to protect all "sides" of the non-existent "conflict" — often wearing Soviet emblems on their uniforms! And the various sides (including later the "Kosovans," also supported by the Communist Bloc via Albania) were repeatedly caught sharing their weapons and other resources back and forth.

Before U.S. troops arrived in 1995, some Western tourists to the supposedly "devastated" Sarajevo area reported seeing no conflict at all. In many cases, reports of "war damage" turned out to be leftover, unrepaired damaged from World War II, 50 years earlier. Most reports of battles and casualties could not be confirmed indepedently. Etc., etc. And when American troops did finally arrive, they, too, couldn't find any battles around Sarajevo; at most, they faced only an occasional, unidentified sniper.

In short, there never was a Yugoslav "war," nor did Communist Yugoslavia ever break apart. To this day, it remains under the control of Yugoslav Communists masquerading as various factions or governments, but all coordinated under strict Soviet control. The purpose of the bogus conflicts was to draw the U.S. and Europe into a Vietnam-style quagmire, but the plan fizzled when Americans proved uninterested in getting drawn into a no-win fight without clearly defined enemies. In the end, the whole Yugoslav charade proved a flop — thanks to G-d's miraculous intervention.

Relevant Torah Principles:
The first three verses of the Book of Numbers (Bemidbar), chapter 21, describe a fight between the Jewish people and some "Canaanites." But the location of those "Canaanites" was where the Bible previously (see chapter 13, for example) stated the Amalekites (Satanic arch-enemy of G-d and the Jewish nation) lived. The Jewish oral traditions from G-d state that those "Canaanites" were actually Amalekites disguised as Canaanites in carrying out an ambush against the Jews.

Why bother disguising which nation they belonged to? Shouldn't it have made no difference, since in any case, the Jews could see they were being attacked by an armed military? The Torah teaches that Amalek is expert at deflecting counter-attacks against itself. The Amaleki intent was to trick the Jews into praying to G-d for deliverance from the "Canaanites" — so that even if G-d answered their prayers, it wouldn't work against the Amalekites. But the Jews saw through the deception and wisely asked G-d to deliver them from "this people," and their prayers were successfully answered.

It goes without saying that one cannot win a war if one doesn't know who his enemy is. But the Torah further instructs us that when fighting Amalek, this type of confusion is a particular danger, and must be carefully heeded.

Analysis:
The Amaleki nation has physically survived over the course of thousands of years, mostly as an underground network of conspirators plotting world revolution. They are the originators of the "religion" of Satanism and related cults (such as Manicheism and various forms of Gnosticism). And they have emerged in recent times as the world Communist International, which is mostly comprised of non-Amalekites recruited into the revolution and tightly controlled from the top by a small number of biological descendants of Amalek. The proof for these conclusions is too long to present here, but it is extraordinarily powerful and clear.

That is the reason the Communists use every diabolical method described as being Amaleki in the Torah — including disguising themselves as something other than Communists. The Serb forces in Yugoslavia were no more "Christian" that the Bosnians, Croats, or Kosovans were "Muslim"; they are all Communists hiding in false clothing to confuse and entrap their Western enemies. Similar deceptions are now taking place in Russia and Chechniya, Iraq, and other places throughout the Middle East region (and to some extent, throughout the world).

It is imperative that we do not fall for the Communist trickery or allow ourselves to be sucked into phony conflicts where all sides are Communist-controlled, but rather to attack the Communist "head of the snake" directly — such as Soviet Russia and Red China. By following the Torah's clear teachings, we can turn potential defeat into victory.

Have Some Chabad Shluchim Betrayed Their Rebbe?

This week's example:
Rabbi Yakov Silberstein, Hadar HaTorah Yeshiva, Brooklyn, NY

Rabbi Silberstein was presented our PLO-defunding Proclamation last July 14th. Unfortunately, he works under Rabbi Sholom Ber Hecht, head of the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education; we profiled Hecht last week as an adamant "refusenik" who avoids our Proclamation like the plague. And Hecht was physically present when our volunteer showed Rabbi Silberstein the Proclamation. So, unsurprisingly, Silberstein pretended to be busy.

When our volunteer re-approached Silberstein weeks later, on August 16th, the rabbi cooked up a variety of evasions. First he claimed he had already signed, then simply refused to sign, etc.

The bottom line is that Rabbi Silberstein doesn't want to threaten his standing at his job or risk alienating his boss by signing something that Hecht won't — even if it's to save Jewish lives. Surely saving Israel and Israelis (and Americans, for that matter) is worth losing a lousy job! (And my own personal impression was that Silberstein doesn't even particularly like his job, either, as I observed when I attended the Hadar HaTorah Yeshiva for which he serves as head administrator). Sad.

These men may not have to appease Rabbi Hecht, but they still signed, and for that they get credit.
