JAHG-USA Newsletter: Week of 7 Shvat, 5766 / February 5, 2006

"How should the U.S. respond to Bolivia's new president?" Nearly two-thirds of respondents (60%) voted for using economic sanctions against Bolivia; the remainder preferred invading Bolivia and executing its president. No one thought friendly relations with Bolivia would work. Here are excerpts of a couple of comments:

Factual Background:
Last month, Evo Morales entered office as Bolivia's nominally "elected" president. He doesn't try to hide his ties to the cocaine mafia — he has personally been a leader in the illegal manufacture of cocaine destined for America — nor his brazen Marxism; in fact, he openly boasts about them. Part of his campaign platform was specifically a commitment to protecting the drug industry from anti-drug law enforcement efforts. Even now that he tones down his public statements a bit so as not to trigger a backlash, Morales continues to admit he plans to protect the farming of coca leaves, the source of cocaine.

The drug mafia in general, and cocaine manufacture and smuggling in particular, are almost wholly owned and controlled by Communist revolutionaries throughout Latin America. Morales' political party, the Movement to Socialism (MAS), is explicitly Marxist. Morales himself declares he is pursuing a Marxist revolution along the lines of Argentinian Communist Che Guevara and Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, and he is officially backed by both Castro and Venezuela's Communist president, Hugo Chavez. Morales, for that matter, has for many years been an actual agent of Cuban intelligence, as evidenced by earlier travel to Cuba as part of organizing his Bolivian revolution.

Morales rode to power by organizing and intimidating the extremely primitive, illiterate Indian population, which neither understands the agenda of Morales and his comrades nor has any idea of the fate that awaits them should the Communists succeed in overthrowing the Bolivian government and establishing a revolutionary dictatorship (R"L). But the origins of his movement tell all.

In 1943, the pro-Western, anti-Nazi, conservative government of Bolivia was overthrown by an organization known as the National Revolutionary Movement (MNR). The MNR was little more than a front for Communist revolution; before long, it was openly controlled and supported by the Revolutionary Workers Party (POR, the Trotskyite-Marxist organization in Bolivia) and the Bolivian Communist Party, which took its orders directly from Moscow.

As a Marxist front, the MNR and its Communist supervisors dripped with anti-Semitism. Their secret police agents kidnapped and nearly murdered leading Jews (who were prominent and successful under the previous conservative government), and MNR revolutionary measures targeted the 15,000 Jews of Bolivia, causing at least half of them to flee the country. Just to underline the point, the MNR officially allied itself with Nazi Germany during World War II.

After the war, the MNR was overthrown by a conservative military junta. Following several years of back-and-forth political and revolutionary activity, the MNR seized dictatorial power in 1952. Then the mask came full off. Mass arrests quickly over-filled all the prisons, and the regime set up four concentration camps in rural areas to expand the beginnings of mass murder. Secret police infiltrated the entire population with informants, socialism was instituted to destroy the economy and create mass poverty, and the Indians were organized to seize farmland, which was then socialized and never given to them anyway.

Bolivia was only saved by the overthrow of its Communist regime in the 1960s, again by a military junta. Although a long series of unstable governments have followed since then, the Communist dictatorship has not returned.

In the meantime, Cuban-directed Communist agents have infiltrated Indian communities throughout Latin America, knowing that the impoverished, ignorant Indians have little ability to resist disciplined revolutionaries armed with Soviet guns. This underground network has produced the narco-mafia — and the MAS of Evo Morales.

Relevant Torah Principles:
1) As noted before, the Noahide commandment of justice allows — indeed, requires — a government to take pro-active measures, including offensive war when necessary, to head off a threat to national security.

2) Insofar as the laws of the land do not contradict the Torah, halacha (Torah Law) grants those laws Divinely-supported status. The U.S. Constitution allows America to take pre-emptive action outside its borders to stop incipient threats, and early in America's history, President James Monroe proclaimed the intent to use American military force to keep the Western Hemisphere clear of hostile foreign influence — known as the "Monroe Doctrine." The Torah fully supports this concept, when directed against genuine threats.

3) The principle of tzedaka (charitable giving) includes actions taken to protect others. Hasidic mysticism teaches that countries such as America were bestowed great wealth by G-d specifically for the purpose of using that wealth to benefit others. A revolutionary regime in another country is not just a threat to the U.S. (through supporting drug smuggling and terrorism, for example), but also endangers the social fabric and the very lives of people in the victim country. The Torah authorizes our government to send forces on a mission of mercy to rescue others threatened by revolution, not just to protect America.

Analysis:
Evo Morales and his comrades have every intention of undermining and overthrowing their government and replacing it with a Soviet-style regime of anarchy, as happened in the 1940s and 1950s. They would against institute concentration camps and mass murder, particularly of the Indians whom they used to gain power. And they would simultaneously plunder Bolivia's resources to support the spread of similar revolution throughout South America.

Communists are disciplined soldiers of hatred. No deterrent can deter them from their revolutionary obsession with destroying the world, one nation at a time. If they seize full power in Bolivia, the destruction and bloodshed could be staggering for Bolivians, Latin Americans in general, and the U.S. Thus the Torah positively requires America to act rapidly and decisively, intervening with full military force not only to overthrow the Morales government, but to root out and execute every Communist, revealed or hidden, in every corner of Bolivia.

If Americans act on this mandate, G-d will surely respond with greater blessings for the U.S., including protection from Communist and Socialist forces in this country.

The phony "Sanhedrin's" equally illegitimate "Noahide council" includes James D. Long, a non-Jewish journalist, author, and film producer — and closely ally of the Root and Branch Association (R & B) network that aims to seize control of Hasidic Gentiles and their Jewish supporters. The company he runs with his wife Carol, Lightcatcher Productions, publishes the subversive book The Rainbow Covenant, written by Marxist activist Michael Dallen, himself a major part of the R & B network.

The Longs have in recent years "befriended" and thus co-opted Vendyl Jones, formerly a Noahide leader of some fame. Through their influence, Jones now associates with and befriends various R & B agents, and has become so reliably servile that the R & B-controlled "Sanhedrin" was willing to include him as well in the "Noahide council."

It is not important whether the Longs are actual members of the Communist underground or of some controlled intelligence service. Either way, they are dangerous agents whom every Jew and Hasidic Gentile should avoid.

A JAHG-USA volunteer showed Rabbi Springer our Proclamation (which lists the Torah rules requiring everyone to get involved with JAHG-USA's PLO-defunding campaign) last June 9th. Unable to find an objection to the Proclamation itself, yet unwilling to sign, Rabbi Springer lamely excused himself by insisting that the Proclamation be printed on different paper!

The bottom line is that he didn't want to be caught in the middle of potential controversy, where some people might oppose him for "sticking out his neck." On the other hand, allowing our tax monies to finance the growing PLO infrastructure of terrorism is, quite literally, risking one's life. Maybe it's time for Rabbi Springer to think again.

Terrorism Update:

PLO terror attacks, funded by the U.S. taxpayer, multiplied this last week:

Last Wednesday, two Hezbollah terrorists sneaked across the Lebanese border into Israel, shooting at Israeli soldiers; one of the terrorists was killed. (Lebanese Hezbollah is nothing but an arm of the PLO's Fatah which changed its name to "Hezbollah" in the 1980s for political reasons, but which continues to work tightly with its PLO masters.)
On the same day, a revolutionary threw a smoke grenade in Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, but no one was injured.
On Wednesday and Thursday, six Kassam rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip into the rest of Israel. One exploded in the Israeli town of Ashkelon; two others struck the town of Sderot, injuring one person. The rockets also damaged several cars.
Wednesday evening, terrorists attacked Israeli citizens with Molotov cocktails (firebombs), but missed.
On Thursday, two terrorists were caught smuggling pipe bombs in the West Bank.
That same day, other terrorists threw Molotov cocktails (firebombs) at Israeli cars on the road in two locations, damaging two vehicles; meanwhile, another was thrown at an Israeli army vehicle near one of the attack areas.
Also that day, terrorists fired guns at Israeli army vehicles, damaging them.
On Friday, Islamic Jihad terrorists fired Kassam missiles from the Gaza Strip. One of the missiles exploded in a home, seriously injuring a baby in the head (who was hospitalized), his father and uncle, and a pregnant woman. Another Kassam rocket damaged an industrial area in Ashkelon, and yet another struck near Jewish homes without causing damage. (The PLO's Fatah group generally supports and coordinates the Kassam attacks by Islamic Jihad, a close PLO ally.)
Apparently also on Friday, Hezbollah terrorists fired mortar rounds and anti-tank missiles at Israeli soldiers from across the Lebanese border; one soldier was serious injured and hospitalized. (As noted above, Lebanese Hezbollah is an arm of the PLO.)
Friday afternoon, terrorists threw stones at an Israeli car, injuring the driver.
That same afternoon, Israeli soldiers caught two terrorists on their way to carry out suicide bombings; both were safely arrested.
Saturday night, a bomb was discovered hidden near a water tower, but was safely destroyed.
Sunday morning, an Israeli Arab (presumably working for the PLO) attacked taxi passengers with a knife, injuring four men and killing a middle-aged woman before he was captured.
Sunday night, an Israeli woman was attacked by rocks thrown at her car while she was driving; she was injured and hospitalized.
Monday afternoon, a terrorist threw a firebomb at Israeli soldiers, but missed.
Monday evening, firebombs were again thrown at Israeli cars on the road in the West Bank, apparently missing.
That same night, two members of the al-Aqsa Brigades of the PLO's main Fatah group were killed by Israeli soldiers before they could launch Kassam rockets.
This morning (Tuesday), Islamic Jihad terrorists fired guns at Israeli soldiers who came to arrest them. Two soldiers were injured, and one terrorist was killed.
Later today, two more Kassam missiles were launched from the Gaza; one damaged a house in the town of Sderot.
The al-Aqsa Brigades of the PLO's Fatah group, and the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), a PLO-controlled umbrella for coordinating all terrorist groups, are now working to smuggle Kassam missiles into the West Bank, from which they could strike much more of Israel than the ones fired from Gaza. Jerusalem would then be in reach of the rockets.
According to a report by the Israeli Shin Bet (its internal law enforcement/security agency), 50 terrorist attacks have been attempted each week in recent times.

This week's casualty count: 1 person dead, 14 people injured, and a number of cars and homes damaged (not counting dead terrorists).

All the various terrorist groups work with or under the PLO. Fatah, the al-Aqsa Brigades, the PFLP, the PFLP-GC, and the DFLP, among others, are actual members of the PLO who benefit directly from U.S. aid to the PLO; the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) are a PLO front, and likewise feed from the American trough; and Hezbollah (of Lebanon), Hamas, and Islamic Jihad closely coordinate their activities with the PLO. For that matter, the PLO has been caught (or at times admitted) that it directly finances these groups as well, and it is the PLO that engineered the recent Hamas "victory" (in mock "elections" in which Arabs had no voice) — for the purpose of goading the U.S. and Israel to recognize and legitimize Hamas as much as its PLO overlord.

Yet the Bush Administration continues at least part of its direct funding to the PLO's "Palestinian Authority" (PA), thus giving the terrorists of all groups the badly-needed money to create this growing wave of violence. And U.S. aid through third parties such as the United Nations, through which some half a billion dollars flow each year to the PLO, continues without interruption.

The disruption of that aid would cause enormous problems for the terrorists, and the attacks would start diminishing even before the funding is totally cut off.

Rabbi Gurary was also shown the Proclamation the same day, and he likewise signed without hesitation. Rabbi Gurary is a Rav, qualified to head an official Jewish rabbinical court and to make decisions of halacha (Torah Law). His endorsement is therefore particularly authoritative, and amounts to an official ruling that everyone must get involved in the JAHG-USA campaign.
