Correction: In last week's issue, I referred to "the Entente surrender" at the end of WWI. Actually, the Triple Entente were the victorious allies, and those that surrendered were known as the "Central Powers." Thus the phrase should have read "the surrender of the Central Powers."

"Issues of World War III" Survey

"Should the death penalty be used?" Our responding readers were once again unanimous, this time in full support of expanded capital punishment. That shouldn't be too surprising, given the well-known Torah requirement for it, although the specifics may be a bit different than even most Hasidic Gentiles or observant Jews think. Here are a few excerpted comments:

• "…The real debate is whether the death penalty is just punishment or not. With regards to heinous crimes the answer is a resounding yes.."
• "…the time is much too long from the time of conviction to the execution."
• "The death penalty should be used specifically as the Torah requires to enforce the Noahide Laws…"
• "If there is proof beyond a reasonable doubt that a particular person murdered another… then the death penalty should be used…"

Factual Background:
The recent noise against capital punishment was generated by a small but vocal minority in defense of convicted murderer Stanley Tookie Williams. Williams, for the record, was a founder of the Crips network of gangs which, as we have previously reviewed, was created by the Revolutionary Action Movement (RAM), the Black Panther Party (BPP), and other Cuban-controlled Marxist revolutionary organizations, all of which tried to organize urban guerrilla warfare to burn down the cities of the United States. The Crips have functioned as the drug-pushing, fundraising arm of the revolution, and have maintained their close working alliance with overtly Marxist terrorist groups.

Presumably Williams himself was a member of the Communist underground; certainly, in recent years he worked openly for the uniting of all gangs in revolution, toeing exactly the Marxist agenda. Prison officials also have mentioned information that he had continued to run the Crips gangs from within prison, enforcing a violent, ugly regime of terror throughout gangland territory in American cities. It is no wonder his supporters have included some of the most notorious radicals. For example:

• Currently active members of the Crips gangs.
• Rap "musician" Snoop Dogg, an overt supporter of Crips gangs and their violence, and himself a member (or "former" member, he tells the police) of the Crips.
• Louis Farrakhan and his Nation of Islam (NOI) organization, openly backed by Communist Libya. (NOI has worked closely with the RAM and other Communist revolutionary groups.)
• Desmond Tutu, a public supporter of the South African Communist Party, a participant in at least the political organizing of the Communist-run African National Congress terrorist group, and a virulent anti-Semite — and, of course, supporter of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
• The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), a long-identified front for the Communist Party, USA, and a vocal advocate of revolutionaries and terrorists around the world.

Such supporters of Williams clearly oppose capital punishment only against Communists and their allies, but have no great difficulty with Communist genocide that has already exterminated hundreds of millions of innocent human beings globally, nor with the Communist-run network of hundreds of terrorist groups around the world that are murdering civilians every single day. If these Marxists would have their way in keeping their revolutionary comrades alive long enough to overthrow the U.S. government and come to power, one can only guess how many tens of millions of Americans they would then gleefully annihilate in new concentration camps (R"L). It isn't the death penalty they oppose; it's only the execution of Communists that displeases them.

But there is also the larger, more general issue of capital punishment.

Relevant Torah Principles:
1) The basic halacha (religious law) of the Noahide Laws provides only a single punishment for any proven violation of any of the fundamental provisions of the Seven Commandments: death by sword, meaning decapitation (Rambam, Mishneh Torah, Laws of Kings 9:14). Any sin for which there is no capital punishment has no prescribed penalty at all. The capital offenses include any act of worshipping an idol or false god (including Buddha, Jesus, etc.), the act of blaspheming G-d verbally (according to a certain formulation of words), any act of direct or indirect (but willful) murder (including abortion), any theft (even of a paper clip, or an act of cheating, etc.), any forbidden relations (male homosexuality, adultery with a married woman, etc.), eating a limb torn from a living land animal (foul are not necessarily included), or various actions against law and order (presumably including treason, etc.; there is some dispute as to the exact provisions of this commandment).

2) Under the Noahide Laws, the government may (and often must) institute additional prohibitions or requirements, and may establish a variety of other penalties for their violation (including death penalty, if necessary). But for the basic rules of the Torah, only death penalty by decapitation is permitted.

3) When there is at least one reliable witness to the sin, with no contrary testimony by reliable eyewitnesses or clear forensic evidence opposing the witness(es), the courts must execute the offender (the witness could be the defendant himself, that is, his confession is accepted as proof). The judges are not free to evade the punishment for any reason; the testimony settles the matter, and the rest is in G-d's hands. But if the case rests entirely on forensic evidence without any direct eyewitness testimony, it may be that the court is not allowed to enforce the death penalty.

4) The Torah also requires rapid justice. The defendant must be tried immediately, not weeks or months later; the evidence (eyewitness testimony) is either there, or it is not. The trial should not be more than a couple of days, and the execution (or the defendant's release) take place on the very same day as the conviction itself. Jewish law, and thus perhaps Noahide law, does provide for appeals, but they can only take place during the short period between conviction and execution — that is to say, within the hour (or so).

Analysis:
We have not delved into the Stanley Williams case to learn whether he was convicted using eyewitness testimony or merely forensic evidence. If Williams were merely an ordinary criminal, this distinction might be extremely important. Absent eyewitness testimony, the Torah may very well rule that not only would he not receive the death penalty, but would actually have to be released. On the other hand, if there is eyewitness testimony that the Torah rules to be reliable, the courts would have no choice but to execute him (the method of lethal injection would, apparently, not be acceptable; only decapitation is allowed).

But since Williams is a member of a global criminal conspiracy for total revolution, anarchy, and mass murder — that is, the Communist International — the minimal rules of Torah no longer apply. In such a case, the obligations of justice require the government to institute special laws and measures for the total suppression of Communist revolution (a principle known in Torah as "the king's justice"); these measures can, and must, include the acceptance of lower standards of evidence (forensic or circumstantial evidence, for example) for conviction, because of the emergency. Without question, the government is obligated to pass all necessary laws and carry out all required punishments to fight the Communist revolution. The Communists have long ago declared war on all civilization, and all society must unite to stamp out the threat entirely. Revolutionaries such as Williams and his allies simply will not stop their unceasing war for evil until they are dead, and thus we have no option but to eliminate them.

Have Some Chabad Shluchim Betrayed Their Rebbe?

This week's example:
Rabbi Kasriel Kastel, Lubavitch Youth Organization, Brooklyn, NY

A JAHG-USA volunteer showed Rabbi Kastel our Proclamation (declaring the Torah duty for everyone to help defund the PLO) on April 5. At the rabbi's request, the volunteer returned three days later to get his response, but found him to have become most evasive. Rabbi Kastel spent a fair amount of time discussing the Proclamation without clearly hinting whether he planned to sign it, then claimed he had no time to discuss it when pressed for a signature. Our volunteer didn't let him get away so easily, but soon the rabbi was again trying to postpone the decision, becoming yet more evasive, etc. It became painfully obvious he just didn't want to sign, but also didn't want to be publicly identified as not signing.

It's just another case of wanting to stay out of controversy by taking no side at all. At that point, only one rabbi had signed the Proclamation, so perhaps it's understandable that Rabbi Kastel thought he might be sticking out his neck for something that might not be popular. But he shouldn't have to wait until hundreds of his colleagues have endorsed (as is now the case) before he reconsiders. The Torah is clear: Every Jew is obligated to do whatever he can to save lives, regardless of what others think or do.

Some Chabad Shluchim Are Helping the JAHG-USA Campaign

Dr. Dovid Sholom Pape, Tzivos Hashem, Brooklyn, NY

Dr. Pape was shown a copy of the Proclamation on June 8th. After reading it and asking a bit about it, he signed on the spot.

Like Rabbi Kastel, Dr. Pape is a respected leader in a well-established Chabad organization for outreach to Jewish youth (Rabbi Kastel's Lubavitch Youth Organization was founded in the 1950s, while Tzivos Hashem was established in 1980). Yet Dr. Pape showed much greater leadership in fighting terrorism. His name is widely recognized and respected in the Lubavitch movement, and his endorsement has already helped bring other backers on board. If Dr. Pape doesn't fear losses from endorsing the JAHG-USA campaign to defund the PLO, Rabbi Kastel shouldn't, either. But when it comes to image considerations, there's no accounting for logic.

• "There is a fellow whose last name is Stone who is running a web site claiming Bnai Noah and Chabad support but attacking the new Sanhedrin… do you know if this is a plot like Root and Branch?" — MSA.

Our response: There's a big plot here, but it isn't merely like the Root and Branch Association (R & B); it's a literal part of that subversive network. Further, it's not to attack the "Sanhedrin," but to promote it. And "John Stone" is part of the plot.

The strategy of trying to destroy Judaism by co-opting the rabbis is nothing new. In the early 1800s, French dictator Napoleon — described by the Alter Rebbe (founder of the Chabad movement and author of the Tanya) as "the Satan" and the ultimate, most evil enemy of the Jewish people — convened a phony "Sanhedrin" of Jewish leaders to rubber-stamp his rewriting of Torah Law. Ultimately, Napoleon's scheme had little impact, so his Communist successors later infiltrated Judaism to create the Reform and "Conservative" cults that still mislead millions of Jews to this day and which are not part of Judaism in any way.

The Amaleki enemy has been trying for many years now to pre-empt or co-opt any incipient "Noahide" movement, that is, to prevent authentic Jewish influence from reaching the masses of non-Jews. A vast network of subversive individuals and groups has grown up since the 1980s to infiltrate and lead astray any potential Hasidic Gentiles; the hub of this movement is the New York-based Root and Branch Association, which, like a chameleon, frequently changes its coloration to counteract exposures of its insidious activities against Judaism (in the name of Judaism and Torah, of course!).

Having been repeatedly frustrated in their attempts to seize control of Hasidic Gentiles in recent years, they have now adopted Napoleon's old tactic of establishing a phony "Sanhedrin" to exert "authority" and control from above. But this is nothing more than the apostasy and subversion by spies as prophesied in the rabbinical traditions of the Talmud.

The new "Sanhedrin," formed last year, is understandably cagey about naming its members, but the few names we do know, plus its endorsers, are enough to expose its true nature:

• Three members of the "Sanhedrin" are affiliated with the Temple Institute, a group closely affiliated with, and mutually promoting and promoted by, the Root and Branch Association (R & B).
• A leader in the "Sanhedrin" is Rabbi Yoel Schwartz, a long-time ally of R & B who has been actively promoted by the subversive network in an attempt to bring all Hasidic Gentiles under his control. Amongst Rabbi Schwartz's close affiliates is Noah Potter, a well-trained, openly-Marxist street organizer active in generating revolution who appears to have been trained by either the Communist Party apparatus in America or by a foreign intelligence service, such as the Cuban DGI. In our informed judgment, Rabbi Schwartz appears to be an agent of Communist Bloc intelligence services, probably handled through Hungarian intelligence.
• Rabbi Nachman Kahane, brother of the late Meir Kahane, is also a leader in the new "Sanhedrin." Meir Kahane expressed sympathy for Socialism; used the Communist clenched-fist symbol for his group, the Jewish Defense League; was trained by the Marxist-led Betar movement in his youth, and continued to claim affinity for its more radically Marxist wing, the Stern Group/FFI; and was the main provocateur constantly trying to redirect Jewish backlash against revolution and terrorism away from the Communists toward various ethnic groups, such as Blacks, Puerto Ricans, Arabs, etc. Meir Kahane thus pushed mightily the Communist/PLO propaganda line that Arabs, not Communists, are the true enemies of Israel and Jews, and he played a major role in covering up the Soviet genocide against Jews and others in thousands of concentration camps. His brother Nachman has, to our knowledge, never disavowed the provocative, pro-Communist activism of Meir Kahane.
• The "Nasi" (top leader) of the "Sanhedrin" is none other than Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, a previously non-observant Jew who claimed to become religious decades ago. One of his honorary degrees is from Brandeis University, a notorious organizing center for the Frankist revolutionary movement and for Communist campus radicalism. He has also been a scholar in residence at the subversive Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, a Washington, DC-based group serving the purposes of the Fabian Socialists; among its members is Condoleezza Rice, a leader of the subversive, Fabian-Socialist Council on Foreign Relations.
  One of Steinsaltz's close collaborators is David Pisanti, a Sufi advocate who works with Root and Branch. He participated, for example, in an R & B conference promoting the "ten lost tribes" subversive propaganda.
  But Steinsaltz is directly connected to the Communist Bloc itself. With the presumed (and absolutely necessary) backing of the KGB, the Soviet Russian secret police, Steinsaltz has been officially named a primary leader of all Jews in Russia, his books have been published by the Russian Academy of Sciences (an organization long under direct control of the Communist Party and the KGB), he has been allowed to establish "Jewish universities" in Moscow and Petersburg (certainly under KGB control), and he has founded a publishing house in Moscow — which the Communists would not allow if they did not fully control it. On top of all this, Steinsaltz has been nominated for membership in the Russian Academy of Sciences — a position granted exclusively to top members of the Communist Party.
  It is therefore no surprise at all that, as chief of the new "Sanhedrin," Steinsaltz backed the Soviet Russian agenda by arguing against having the "Sanhedrin" oppose Israel's surrender to the PLO. The PLO, of course, is the largest and most central group in the Soviet-run world terror network, operating under direct KGB control since its creation.
  Rabbi Steinsaltz can be presumed to be a full officer of the KGB operating under religious Jewish disguise.
• Participating in the committees of the "Sanhedrin" is Vendyl Jones, a non-Jewish, Texas-based Noahide leader. Our understanding is that he used to be genuine in his intentions, but in any case, he and his small organization have come under heavy R & B influence in recent years. Among his close friends and helpers are Jim and Carol Long, who work closely with Marxist activist Michael Dallen (himself a phony leader of Noahides) and who help promote R & B-affiliated authors. Rabbi Steinsaltz has endorsed Jones' work, and Jones himself has degenerated to the point that he invites R & B agent Jack Saunders to his conferences and praises Saunders effusively; Saunders, a non-Jew, works behind the scenes to try to lead Noahides away from rabbinical influence — a fact I personally discovered when I met Saunders in his own home several years ago.
• Among the promoters of the "Sanhedrin" is Billy Jack Dial, an agent of the R & B network (though he probably denies such affiliation). He is an Atlanta, Georgia-based phony "Noahide" leader who runs his own web site.
• Another "Sanhedrin" endorser is Hal Lindsey, the author of much of the revisionist, falsified Christian notions of the prophetic end times in which we live today. Lindsey's activities read like a classic provocateur of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), itself heavily infiltrated and dominated by the Soviet KGB. Lindsey is a close collaborator and promoter of "Christian" author/lecturer Chuck Missler, who has connections to the Soviet KGB and who promotes the Communist line that Islam, not Communism, is the source of modern terrorism. Almost certainly, both Lindsey and Missler work for the Soviets — either directly, or through the CIA (the more likely probability).
• Though maintaining a low-profile approach, the Root and Branch Association itself directly promotes the new "Sanhedrin" as a legitimate body, and encourages sympathy for it, in its internet discussion groups.

The true Sanhedrin, when it really does come back to life (in the very near future), must — and will — first and foremost carry out its Torah obligation to name a great, righteous leader as Moshiach (the Messiah), who must then lead the Jews to victory in World War III (the third War of Gog and Magog). In practical terms, this means the King Moshiach will fight and defeat the entire Communist Bloc, annihilating Marxist revolution forever (and rooting out Jewish traitors, such as the leaders of the phony "Sanhedrin"). This sequence — first naming the king, then waging war and defeating the forces of Amalek, and then (and only then) rebuilding the Jerusalem Temple — is the requirement of Jewish Law (Rambam, Mishneh Torah, Laws of Kings 1:1-2).

But don't expect the phony "Sanhedrin" to select a Jewish king who will genuinely fight international Communism.
