"Another drug/terrorist gang network, the Crips, was launched in the late 1960s as a derivative of which terrorist group operating among American blacks?" SG of Brooklyn, NY, got the correct answer: the Black Panthers.

During the 1960s, the Cuban-directed Revolutionary Action Movement (RAM, a terrorist group openly aligned with Communist China), the Communist Party, USA (CPUSA), and other Marxist groups were actively infiltrating and organizing among black neighborhood groups and gangs in major US cities. From this volatile subversive activity was born the Black Panther Party (BPP), founded in New York by RAM and on the East side of Los Angeles by the Communist-influenced gang, the "Slausons." The Black Panthers went on to receive assistance from Communist Algeria and Cuba, from the Communist revolutionaries in Angola, from the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) of Yassir Arafat, and from the National Lawyers Guild — the Communist Party legal front in America.

By the late 1960s, the Black Panthers were getting involved in organized crime. Their closely-allied group, the "Slausons," soon helped form the first units of the drug-running gang syndicate now known as the "Crips." From the very beginning, Crips openly imitated the dress, ideology, and organizational structure of their Black Panther sponsors.

While the Black Panther Party itself reorganized as the Black Guerrilla Family, operating among criminals inside the prison system, the Crips went on to dominate the narcotics market nationwide, particulary cocaine; today their gang network operates across the entire United States, and implemented threats of urban warfare in the 1992 Los Angeles riots. Meanwhile, an umbrella organization known as the "CRIPS" (Clandestine Revolutionary International Party Soldiers), an openly Marxist terror group aligned with the Black Guerrilla Family (the former Black Panthers), is working to unify all Crips gangs into one massive terrorist movement that aims to burn down American cities for the sake of Communist revolution (G-d forbid).

But since Communism, as such, holds little or no appeal for the average black youth, the CRIPS and their allied groups are wrapping their goals in the language of black nationalism, trying to create racial hatred and race warfare between blacks and whites.

This week's example: Rabbi Yosef Nissan Cunin, Chabad of the Hills, Beverly Hills, CA

Rabbi Cunin received a copy of our proclamation (calling on all Jews to participate in the campaign to defund the PLO) on February 23, 2005 at 3:51pm. He did not respond within ten days, as we requested in our cover letter, nor has he answered us at all during the last three months.

Rabbi Cunin is the son of Rabbi Boruch Shlomo Cunin, director of the Lubavitch organization in all of California and Nevada. Could the younger Cunin's lack of interest in stopping PLO terrorism be inspired by opposition from his father? In a future issue of the newsletter, we plan (G-d willing) to delve into the elder Cunin's own unwillingness to support the campaign — a fact that could go far in explaining the reluctance of Chabad shluchim (representatives) throughout California to oppose the PLO.

Here's the next halacha from the proclamation:

Proclamation Rule No. 3
When the time comes to save a life (or lives), a Jew is absolutely forbidden to ask permission to do so, even from a Rav or any other authority; Jewish law states that by asking for authorization, a Jew would be wasting precious time and effort that is needed for the saving of lives, and would be giving others the false impression that saving lives might be optional, or that someone may have the authority to override this obligation. [In fact, any mentor ("mashpia") who would suggest that it's acceptable not to participate in the campaign to defund the PLO is automatically evil, and one is required to stop listening to such a person's wicked influence.]

Some Chabad Shluchim Are Helping the JAHG-USA Campaign

This week's example: Rabbi Yosef Simpson, Principal at United Lubavitcher Yeshivos, Brooklyn, NY

So many rabbis are now stepping forward to sign the proclamation and endorse the PLO-defunding campaign that we're starting a new, regular section for this newsletter — specifically to honor those who are doing at least one part of their responsibility.

Rabbi Simpson was presented the proclamation in March, and on March 30 he signed it. As he explicitly declared, he found the entire proclamation to be halachically correct (in full accordance with Jewish law), and recognized his obligation to endorse the campaign to defund the PLO. He is a principal at the Lubavitch Yeshiva, one of the two major schools training the children of the Lubavitch community in New York. While Rabbi Simpson's endorsement does not necessarily reflect the attitude of all faculty at the yeshiva, several have since joined him in signing, as we hope to announce in future newsletters.

(Regarding our newsletter of May 8): "Why do you refer to J. David Davis's group as a cult?... What are they doing that's wrong, or what are they teaching that's wrong?" — "jr. hall."

Our answer: The Tennessee-based congregation of J. David Davis and Jack Saunders is part of a larger network that includes Professor James Tabor of North Carolina, the Root and Branch Association of New York, and a tight web of Marxist activists. While these groups and individuals often do not have public affiliations with one another (and at times will even distance themselves from each other), they work together so closely that they constitute a single organization.

Their propaganda and indoctrination includes at least three crucial elements:

1) They work to undermine rabbinical authority and traditional Jewish teachings regarding Hasidic Gentile issues, trying to create, ever so gradually, a phony "Noachide" movement as a breakaway from authentic Judaism.

2) They promote (often quietly, behind the backs of sponsoring rabbis) the ideology of "the ten lost tribes." Variations of this clever propaganda, which claims that certain gentiles are actually descendants of ten of the Jewish tribes of ancient times — and even, taken far enough, that the Jews today are impostors and "fake Jews" — have been aimed at several different audiences. The "British-Israel" movement, for example, infiltrated Anglo-Saxon churches in the early twentieth century, claiming that Anglo-Saxons were the "true Jews"; out of British-Israel came the "Identity Movement," which in turned spawned the neo-Nazi terrorists of the Aryan Nations. Parallel movements have targeted blacks (the "Black Israel" movement in New York) and now Noachides, claiming that Noachides are not gentiles, but hidden Jews. Obviously, the aim is once again to create an anti-Semitic movement — in this case, from Noachides themselves!

3) They are working to turn the Noachide teachings into a version of the "Liberation Theology" movement found in Christian churches, which champions Marxist revolutionary causes in religious disguise. Consequently, the Root and Branch Association and its allies frequently promote such Marxist, anti-Torah ideologies as environmentalism, animal rights/vegetarianism, socialism, and abortion — all in the name of Torah (G-d forbid)!

This subversive network, operating under the guise of a "Noachide movement," does not openly declare its ultimate goals, knowing that would provoke a sharp backlash. In a lengthy personal meeting nine years ago, Jack Saunders (one of the leading infiltrators) tried to seduce Boruch Ellison (now director of JAHG-USA) into their movement, but always being very careful to hint his meanings without stating anything explicitly. Ellison has since learned that the same approach is used by all members of the false "Noachide" network.
